In the Works...
Some changes are coming in the Bluestocking house. Nothing is definitive yet (and, if all goes normally, nothing will be until it's all done). My brain is all swatches at the moment, and I don't want to get ahead of myself, so I'll just share some of the inspiration, rather than trying to put it in any concrete form.

I love it! I like modern but I like it mixed with naturals and retro/antiques. Like milk glass. I would love a white Eames rocking chair in the same room as an old buffet table. No old wood pieces though, I like them painted cream or black.
I dream too, but the walls in my home are the same as they were when we moved in. I'm a chicken. I also don't want to decorate until I know my style and I haven't found it 100% yet.

I looooooove the painted stair risers. That would be a very good solution.
I could live in that. It looks like all the pages I rip out of magazines....yes I still do that much to the annoyance of Dave.
I am guessing there is a lot of color in your future!
